"Forte"A secret project!
Laughing. Friendica was from the first fediverse server repository I created; back in 2010 when the fediverse was still just a wee lad. Ancient history.
I'm currently working on the streams repository and another newer project called 'forte' - which would be the 5th major fork after Friendica and the 9th major fork in the family tree. Most projects become stale after a few years and a bunch of upstarts come along and fork it to kick it back into play. In this case, I forked my own work because the people who were attracted to these projects wanted to stick with the existing crap and I'm busy working on the fediverse of 2030.
