(streams) channel cloning progress; CW: Fediverse meta, non-Mastodon Fediverse meta

Okay, so I've managed to clone one of my two (streams) channels so far. Although "clone" is a bit of a stretch; I only got one PM over and none of the few posts.

Maybe the difference between (streams) 2024.10.28 and 2025.1.16 is a bit too big. But I hope @elmussol@streams.elsmussols.net comes back and finally upgrades my home instance.

If you haven't already, check the Content Import addon at the new channel location or Settings > Export Channel from the original channel location.

I've had success in the past using these tools on different occasions.
